Prizren

An old trading town on the Prizren Bistrica, known for its fortress, Ottoman streets and DokuFest.

Peja

Also called Peć, this city connects the western plain with the Accursed Mountains and the Patriarchate monastery.

Gjakova

Also called Đakovica, it is known for the rebuilt Grand Bazaar and craft traditions.

Ferizaj

Also called Uroševac, the city grew around a railway junction and remains an important commercial centre.

Gjilan

Also called Gnjilane, this city is a regional centre in the Anamorava area.

Mitrovica, south centre

Also called Dečani, the town stands near the Visoki Dečani monastery and routes into the western mountains.

Dragash

Also called Dragaš, the town serves the Opoja and Gora uplands with Albanian, Gorani and other communities.
