Khorixas is an inland town near routes to the rock-art landscapes of Damaraland.

Rundu is the capital of Kavango East and an important river and transport centre.

Nkurenkuru

Nkurenkuru is the capital of Kavango West, close to Angola across the river.

The capital of Zambezi Region lies beside Zambia, at Namibia’s eastern river corridor.
