Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Worldly (worldly.academy) is a geography and language learning platform. These terms are an agreement between you and Worldly. By creating an account or using the site, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Worldly.

2. Your account

You need an account for features like duels, friends, chat, and progress tracking. You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in details secure. You must provide accurate information and may not impersonate anyone else. If you are under the age required to consent to data processing in your country (16 in most of the EU, 13 in the US), you may only use Worldly with a parent or guardian's permission.

3. Acceptable use

When using Worldly, including chat and duels, you agree not to:

• harass, abuse, or threaten other players
• post unlawful, hateful, or sexually explicit content
• spam, advertise, or send unsolicited messages
• cheat, exploit bugs, or use automation to gain XP or win duels
• attempt to access other users' accounts or data
• scrape, copy, or resell the service or its content

We may remove content, suspend, or terminate accounts that break these rules.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of anything you write on Worldly, such as chat messages and profile details. You grant us a licence to store and display that content as needed to operate the service, for example showing your messages to the friends or duel opponents you send them to.

5. Our content

The Worldly name, design, quizzes, lessons, and other materials belong to us or our licensors. You may use them for personal, non-commercial learning. You may not republish or redistribute them without permission.

6. Availability and changes

Worldly is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We work to keep the service available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and features (including XP, levels, and game modes) may change or be withdrawn. We may update these terms; if the changes are significant we will make that clear on the site, and continued use means you accept the updated terms.

7. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Worldly is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from your profile settings, which removes your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms.
