Dakhla Bay

The long bay shelters tidal flats and seagrass beds used by fish and migratory waterbirds. The point marks the bay area, not an entrance.

Explore eight coastal, urban and desert learning locations. Approximate pins do not show control or establish access. Essential marks starting points for learning; Detour adds context. Select a pin to read about a place, then play the map and find them all.

Disputed status and map scope

The UN lists Western Sahara as a Non-Self-Governing Territory. Morocco claims and administers most of the territory; the Polisario Front seeks independence through the Sahrawi Arab Democratic Republic. Worldlyโ€™s separate outline does not settle sovereignty or show present control. Map pins and historical photographs are educational references, not safe routes. The Arabic course teaches general Arabic rather than Hassaniya. Watercourses are seasonal or reference geometry and the Atlantic shape is not a maritime claim.
