Geography of Nepal
A landlocked country that rises from lowland plains to the summit of Everest across a few hundred kilometres.
Know the shape of the country
Start with the seven provinces, then place 24 cities and towns, from the plains around Birgunj to Namche Bazaar below Everest. Finish with 13 rivers and six lakes, from the Karnali and Kali Gandaki to Rara and Phewa. Zoom in to separate Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur in the valley.
