What the map tells you about each one

The paragraph the game shows when you find each one. Reading them first is not cheating.

Berea
Berea is the district north of Maseru, with Teyateyaneng as its capital. It is the only district not named after its capital, and the Kome Cave Dwellings lie within it.
Butha-Buthe
Butha-Buthe is the northern district, on the border with the Free State. King Moshoeshoe I settled at Butha-Buthe Mountain in the early 1820s, and the town of Butha-Buthe is its capital.
Leribe
Leribe is the northern district south of Butha-Buthe, which borders the Free State. Hlotse is its capital, and Maputsoe is its one additional town.
Mafeteng
Mafeteng is the western district south of Maseru, on the Free State border. Mafeteng is its capital and only town.
Maseru
Maseru is the western district, which holds the capital. Maseru is the only city in the district, and Thaba Bosiu, Roma and Semonkong lie within it.
Mohale's Hoek
Mohale's Hoek is the southwestern district, which borders South Africa and five other districts. Mohale's Hoek is its capital and only town.
Mokhotlong
Mokhotlong is the northeastern district, named for the place of the bald ibis. It includes the highest terrain in the Maloti Mountains and the source of the Senqu River.
Qacha's Nek
Qacha's Nek is the southeastern district, which borders the Eastern Cape and has a short border with KwaZulu-Natal. Qacha's Nek is its capital and only town, and Sehlabathebe National Park lies within it.
Quthing
Quthing is the southern district, home of the southernmost town in Lesotho. The town of Quthing, also called Moyeni, is its capital, and the district holds dinosaur footprints and rock paintings at Qomoqomong.
Thaba-Tseka
Thaba-Tseka is the eastern district, with Thaba-Tseka as its capital. Katse Dam, the second largest arch dam in Africa, is one of its main attractions.

How this one works

How many districts are on the map?

10. Every one of them is on the map, and a run asks 10 of them. Pass a round and the places you found in it drop out of the pool, so the next run is what you have left.

What is a round?

A run of 10 questions, and 8 right passes it. One round covers the whole map, and the counter at the top of the Lesotho page counts the ones behind you. Passing is what banks a round's finds: miss the mark and nothing is taken off the map, so every place that round asked about is still there to be asked again. A round is always the places you have not found yet, and when fewer than five are left it is topped up with a few you have found as review, so the last round is never one or two questions. Three quarters of it passes it.

Can I start the map over?

Yes. "Reset this map" under the counter puts all 10 back in the pool and sets the rounds to zero the moment you press it, so the whole map is there to be found again from nothing. It clears this map only; the other maps of Lesotho keep their progress.

Do I need an account?

No. The game plays in the page, and a guest's progress is kept in their own browser. Signing in carries it between devices and earns XP for a run.

What happens when I get one wrong?

The map names what you actually hit, then lights up the right answer in green and tells you something about the place. Missing one is how most of this map gets learned.
