A versatile phrase. Add any item after it: У вас есть молоко? (Do you have milk?). Literally "do you have" using the formal Вы form, appropriate for all staff.
The simplest way to ask for a location. Point or gesture freely. Где хлеб? works perfectly, even without knowing the full grammar around it.
Cashiers often ask if you need a bag. The answer is either Да, пожалуйста or Нет, спасибо. Bags cost a small amount at most Russian supermarkets.
