Straightforward and direct. Albanians are generally relaxed about timing, so "tani" in conversation may carry a loose sense of "soon" rather than "this instant." Context tells you which.
A flexible time word. It can mean in an hour or tomorrow evening depending on who is saying it. If timing matters, combine it with a day or an hour to be specific.
Short and sharp. Use it to clarify timing: "sot" before any plan or event confirms it is happening today, not some other day. Essential when booking or confirming arrangements.
The ë at the end is a soft neutral vowel. "Nesër" is used exactly as "tomorrow" in English. Albanians will sometimes say "nesër" when they mean "another time," so context matters.
Staff asking you to wait. Often just "një minutë".
"Pesë minuta", five minutes.
"Dy orë", two hours. Ora also means the clock.
