Politely ask for a table as soon as you enter. Dvoje means two people.
Jelovnik is the food menu. For a drinks menu say karta pića.
"Ne jedem meso", I don't eat meat.
A woman says "alergična sam na".
On the coast, fresh fish is priced by the kilo.
A great compliment to give. Odlično means excellent. The č is like "ch" in church.
The Croatian toast. Make eye contact when clinking glasses. Živjeli literally means "long live."
