Short and easy to remember. Use it to signal urgency or to confirm you want something immediately. Elo! on its own can also express mild surprise or emphasis in casual conversation.
Useful for deferring plans or asking when something will happen. Méi means "more" and spéit means "late," so literally "more late." You can also use méi spéit as a casual "see you later."
One of the most useful time words. Use it when asking about opening hours: Hutt Dir haut op? (Are you open today?). It sounds like the German heute but is distinctly Luxembourgish.
Pronounced with a soft r at the end. If a service is unavailable today, asking whether it is available muer is always worth trying. It is also used in compound phrases like muer Moien (tomorrow morning).
