Бірbeer
One

The most common counting number. In casual speech it is often dropped, so just saying "кофе" works instead of "бір кофе", but including it sounds more natural.

Екіek-KI
Two

Straightforward Turkic counting. The pattern continues logically without the complexity of some European languages.

Үшoosh
Three

The numbers up to ten are all single syllables or very short, making them easy to learn and remember quickly.

Twenty is жиырма, thirty отыз. The system stays regular without the mixed base shifts that plague other languages, making Kazakh numbers relatively learner friendly.
