Literally "a table for two people".
Menus often exist in Kazakh, Russian, and sometimes English in major cities. Outside the capital, menus may be simpler and pointing at other diners' plates is perfectly acceptable.
Beshbarmak, boiled meat on noodles, is the national dish.
Literally "very tasty". Complimenting the cook is appreciated in Kazakh culture. Adding "рахмет" after this phrase shows genuine appreciation and warmth.
Literally "to your health". Toasts at Kazakh feasts can be long speeches.
