Getting around in Catalan

In bars and restaurants, toilets are often at the back or down a staircase. It is polite to buy something before asking to use the facilities. Look for "Serveis" signs as well.
Remember it by "squirrel", which starts the same way.
Literally "all straight." You may also hear "tot seguint" (just keep going). Either phrase from a local means you are on the right track.
Barcelona has several train systems: Rodalies (regional), FGC (Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat), and the Metro. Asking for "l'estació" without specifying can cause confusion in the city.
Note the Catalan word is "bitllet," not the Spanish "billete." For the metro and buses, a T-Casual card (10 trips) is far better value than buying single tickets.
