In bars you often need to ask at the counter for the key. Toilets are usually free in cafés where you have ordered.

Santiago de Compostela has a main RENFE station with connections to Vigo, A Coruña and Madrid.
For return journeys say "de ida e volta." Machines at stations often have an English option.
