Japanese prefectures

Forty-seven prefectures, from Hokkaido at the top of the map to Okinawa 3,000 kilometers away at the bottom left. The islands themselves give you most of what you need: the run is long, but a prefecture is either on the Pacific side, the Sea of Japan side, or the inland sea between them, and that is usually enough to narrow it.
