Tokyo ward map Source: OpenStreetMap contributors, boundary relations for the 23 special wards of Tokyo and eight neighboring cities, retrieved 2026-09-24 through the Nominatim search service, EPSG:4326. Coastline: OpenStreetMap natural=coastline ways around Tokyo Bay, retrieved the same day through the Overpass API. License: Open Data Commons Open Database License (ODbL) 1.0 https://www.openstreetmap.org/copyright https://opendatacommons.org/licenses/odbl/1-0/ Processing: boundaries that reach into Tokyo Bay clipped to the coastline, geometry simplified for display with a tolerance of 0.0002 degrees, islets under about 0.02 km² dropped and coordinates rounded to six decimals. IDs 01-23 and s01-s08 are assigned for this map; they are not official codes. The map shows all 23 special wards: Chiyoda, Chuo, Minato, Shinjuku, Bunkyo, Taito, Sumida, Koto, Shinagawa, Meguro, Ota, Setagaya, Shibuya, Nakano, Suginami, Toshima, Kita, Arakawa, Itabashi, Nerima, Adachi, Katsushika and Edogawa. A second round adds seven Tama cities, Musashino, Mitaka, Chofu, Komae, Nishitokyo, Koganei and Fuchu, and Urayasu in Chiba Prefecture. The map is for geographic learning, not navigation or legal boundaries. Sight coordinates were checked against OpenStreetMap features, with pins representing locations rather than guaranteed entrances.
