Taipei city guide: sources, transformations and photo credits Reviewed October 11, 2026. The text, questions, explanations and selection of fifteen sights were written for Worldly. Official tourism, museum, park and transport references are linked below. Recommendations to group nearby places and allow time are editorial choices. Admission prices, opening hours and service closures are deliberately left to the linked operators so a saved guide does not promise outdated access. All twelve districts are included. Each relation is matched by its Wikidata item. Data license: Open Database License (ODbL) 1.0 https://www.openstreetmap.org/copyright https://opendatacommons.org/licenses/odbl/ Worldly assembled each relation's outer ways into a polygon, simplified the shared coverage with Shapely 2.1.2 using a 0.00005-degree tolerance, rounded coordinates to six decimal places, and selected interior label anchors. The resulting district files are a derivative database offered under the ODbL. The map stops at the Taipei City limits; New Taipei is not shown. This learning map is not a survey or a boundary authority. Rebuild: python3 scripts/build-taipei-districts.py The guide's sight coordinates are longitude/latitude in WGS84, taken from Wikipedia and Wikidata and checked against satellite imagery. All pins are checked against their declared district. Dihua Street is pinned at the Xiahai City God Temple, Raohe Night Market at Ciyou Temple, Maokong at the hilltop tea area and Yangmingshan at Xiaoyoukeng; each is a specific starting point rather than a claim that an entire area fits one pin.
