Individual OSM way IDs are retained in scripts/suriname-map-source.geojson.
Mainstream members are used; the lower Marowijne and Lawa are separate answers
meeting at their confluence. The Tapanahony includes its final confluence way.
Unnamed upper and middle Saramacca river ways are followed through shared OSM
nodes from the documented Wilhelmina headwaters to the lower named river.
A missing 5.76 km centreline section is derived from the medial axis of OSM
river-bank polygon 12563852 and constrained to the mapped water area. The bank
snapshot is retained in scripts/suriname-saramacca-bank.geojson.
Rivers are not intersected with national or district borders or the camera box.
Settlement pins mark curated approximate centres, not municipal boundaries.

Reservoir and ocean

complete North and South Atlantic polygons joined, with surrounding land removed.
The reviewed Atlantic geometry is shared with the Guyana guide. It extends far
beyond Suriname and has no visible artificial offshore outline.
