Istanbul district map Source: OpenStreetMap contributors, boundary relations for twenty-one of the districts (ilçe) of Istanbul Province, retrieved 2026-09-23 through the Nominatim lookup service, EPSG:4326. License: Open Data Commons Open Database License (ODbL) 1.0 https://www.openstreetmap.org/copyright https://opendatacommons.org/licenses/odbl/1-0/ Processing: geometry simplified for display with a tolerance of 0.0002 degrees, islets under about 0.02 km² dropped and coordinates rounded to six decimals. IDs 01-21 are assigned for this map; they are not official codes. Istanbul has 39 districts. The map shows the twelve along the Bosphorus and the Golden Horn: Sarıyer, Eyüpsultan, Kâğıthane, Şişli, Beşiktaş, Beyoğlu, Fatih, Zeytinburnu and Bakırköy in Europe, and Beykoz, Üsküdar and Kadıköy in Asia, plus Avcılar, Esenyurt, Küçükçekmece, Gaziosmanpaşa, Bayrampaşa, Esenler, Güngören, Bağcılar and Bahçelievler, which join them to the west. IDs 16 to 21 were added on 2026-09-23 from the same source. The boundaries follow the shoreline, so the Bosphorus and the Golden Horn show as water. The map is for geographic learning, not navigation or legal boundaries. Sight coordinates were checked against OpenStreetMap features, with pins representing locations rather than guaranteed entrances.
